MPs lobby for corruption money (CoMo) interoperability system

A cross party group of MPs has urged government to build “a corruption money (CoMo) interoperability system by the end of the year.”

It is hoped that the CoMo interoperability system, which will be managed by the All Party Group on Corruption Money Interoperability (APGCMI), will enhance the ability of opposition politicians to partake in the misappropriation of state funds.

According to the group, this new framework “will end the ‘feast or famine’ nature of Ghanaian politics and eliminate the complexities associated with partnering colleagues from other political parties to loot state funds.”

A member of the group confirmed that the former NPP General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong will head the All Party Group on Corruption Money Interoperability.
