The suspended Deputy Sports Minister, Pious Enam Hadzide has reportedly quit politics to pursue a career in visa racketeering.
A close friend admitted the disgraced former deputy minister’s talent and skills set are less suited for public service, adding that “Pious is more cut out for operating fraudulent schemes as he has shown with this incident.”
“He will do very well in the visa connection business.”
Mr. Hadzide was suspended for his involvement in a scandal which led to the deportation of more than 50 Ghanaians after falsely claiming to be journalists and officials travelling to Australia for the Commonwealth Games.
Sources within the ruling NPP say the government’s flagship Israel pilgrimage could present an opportunity for Mr. Hadzide to launch his ‘visa connection’ career.
