Gov’t to reduce unemployment by hiring more presidential staffers

President Akufo-Addo has unveiled an ambitious plan to tackle youth unemployment by “creating more jobs for the boys”.

A statement released this morning said the initiative is a partnership between the Akufo-Addo government and NPP footsoldiers which aims at providing hundreds of card-bearing party members an opportunity to fill their pockets.

In addition to the existing elephant size workforce of 998, Jubilee House intends to onboard hundreds more to provide “vital services”.

A government spokesman said some of the new positions to be created will include Senior Presidential Advisor’s Advisor, Special Aide to the Chief Driver as well as drivers for the existing 21 drivers.
