Noisy and aggressive
children members of parliament who disrupt the president’s State of the Dumsor Nation Address will be sent to the “naughty corner.”
A source inside parliament confirmed that the Speaker has now been given the power to punish parliamentarians who “shout down the president and generally act like the school children who run away from their classroom to join the recent Won Gbo demo.”
Offending MPs will be ordered to stand at the back of the chamber of parliament, with their head facing the wall. The banishment will last until the end of the president’s address.
Our source also revealed that the president will be banished to the naughty corner if his address is found to be full of the same empty promises he made last year.
